KaYu Solutions was founded by Kate and Yury, two people who met in a forest on Moylussa, County Clare, Ireland, and eventually built a company together. The name carries that beginning: Ka from Kate, Yu from Yury, and kayu (the Malay and Indonesian word for tree), a quiet reminder of where it started.

Kate has spent her career growing businesses. Multiple companies scaled at over 100% year-on-year under her commercial leadership: as a sales leader, sales manager, and now as a consulting Commercial Director working with businesses in travel and beyond. She owns revenue targets, sales structure, and commercial strategy. When she steps into an engagement, she is the CD, not an advisor to one.

Yury spent five years inside AWS engineering, delivering platforms, integrating payment systems, and building services that hold under real-world pressure. He asks the systemic questions others skip: why something is built the way it is, what breaks first when it scales, what the integration point actually needs to do. Then he builds the infrastructure to answer them properly.

Between them: the commercial and the technical. The revenue question and the systems question. Most engagements touch both, and having them in the same room from day one is the point.

We work with a small number of clients at a time. That is a deliberate choice: it means the people you speak to in a first conversation are the people doing the work. No handoffs, no account managers sitting between you and the thinking.

We are based in Malta and work with businesses across the EU, in person where that adds value and remotely where it doesn’t.
